Perspectives Global is a network of national Perspectives on the World Christian Movement® study programs, now in 40 countries and 9 languages with over 200,000 alumni.

National Perspectives on the World Christian Movement® programs seek to mobilize and unite God’s people for effective engagement in fulfilling God’s mandate to establish movements within every people group on earth that will worship, obey, and glorify Jesus.

The Perspectives Global Service Office exists to support the establishment of self-sustaining national Perspectives on the World Christian Movement® Study Programs run by national leadership that represents and serves a broad cross-section of the body of Christ in their country.

  • Locally led. Supporting and serving local movements with servant leadership and intentional partnership.

  • Wide Partnership. Respecting diverse traditions and aspiring to strong collaborative partnerships, while affirming a few key essentials.

  • Curricular Continuity. Effectively using the global curriculum, while finding appropriate cultural adaptations consistent with the theological and missiological content of the course.

Every national Perspectives program is to exhibit these three qualities:

OUR ETHOS

The Perspectives on the World Christian Movement® course was initially developed in 1974 as a follow up to the Urbana mission conference for U.S. college students expressing a commitment to global mission. Dr. Ralph Winter, founder of the U.S. Center for World Mission (now Frontier Ventures) garnered missiologists, theologians, anthropologists, and practitioners to contribute to a course of study to inform students of the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of mission. Winter often expressed, “God cannot lead you on the basis of facts that you do not know.”
