ST. THOMAS & PRINCE

Since 2020, the Perspectives course has been a powerful tool used by God to strengthen leaders and mobilize the church in Saint Thomas and Prince for His global mission. Supported by Perspectivas Brasil and Youth with a Mission (YWAM), three classes—in 2020, 2023, and 2025—have equipped pastors, leaders, and members from various denominations with a renewed vision of the church’s role in God’s redemptive plan. Combining live and recorded instruction from local and international teachers, the course has inspired transformation and a deeper missionary vision. We are grateful to Perspectivas Brasil (Kevin, Israel, Flávio Ramos, and Marcelo Fernandes), YWAM Saint Thomas and Prince, the teachers, facilitators, and partner churches who prayed, served, and invested to make this movement possible.

Impact and Testimonies:

  1. Leaders renewed and committed to the church's complete mission." Pastor Kamel Quaresma, one of the leaders of the Baptist Church, said: "I've taught missions in seminaries and biblical / theological institutes. When I first studied Perspectives, it was as if everything I'd learned up to that point was simply the tip of the iceberg, because Perspectives leads us to a deeper understanding of God's mission in the world.   2. Strengthened partnerships between different ministries and denominations, in various evangelism efforts and events and programs held by churches in different regions of the country.

  3. Young people awakened to serve within and outside the country. Multiplication of the missionary vision through new study and preaching groups has been taking place in churches.

  4. We have received suggestions to extend the course to rural areas, and we are praying about this.
