CUBA

Cuba was one of the earliest Latin American countries to hold a Spanish-language Perspectives class. In 2013, four Cuban ministry leaders, including a seminary director, took a Perspectives course held in Kansas City. Upon completion of the course, they strongly felt that it was God’s will for Perspectives to come to Cuba. In 2014 they were able to initiate the first Intensive course.

The Perspectives program in Cuba has continued to grow, conducting regular classes, and having an impact on the churches in Cuba.

"We arrived at the Perspectives course with expectations that have been exceeded. It has had a profound and transformative impact on our lives, redirecting us clearly toward God's global mission, awakening in us a renewed commitment and a broader vision for taking the Gospel to all nations. We are deeply grateful for every instructor, whose wisdom and dedication inspired and challenged us. Every experience shared during the course pushed us to grow, work harder, and live with greater dedication in the calling God has entrusted to us."

"Perspectives was an encounter with the heart of God for the nations. We were impacted by the biblical foundation of mission and how God has used ordinary people throughout the centuries. Our lives changed completely — this course gave us the practical tools and vision we need for when it's our time to go to the mission field. Totally grateful for this opportunity!"
