Perspectivas Colombia has served virtually to train disciples from many countries, such as Ecuador, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, establishing us as a country that desires to help initiate, train, and provide resources for new national programs like those in Ecuador and Venezuela.

Perspectives Colombia is uniting the church and various organizations that share a single heart for God's global mission. God has grown the movement over the years, mobilizing the Colombian church to extend God's glory to all the peoples of the world.

Perspectivas Colombia began its program with an intensive course in 2016. Since then, we have offered in-person courses in various formats every year. In 2019, at the Global Perspectives meeting held in Brazil, God moved us to plan a virtual format for all Spanish-speaking students. We were surprised by the pandemic, which accelerated this virtual program by not allowing in-person classes. During 2020, Víctor Ibagón (RIP 2021) as the Global Perspectives facilitator in Spanish and director of the Colombia Perspectives program, led a team made up of people from all programs in Latin America that launched Perspectivas Virtual Spanish. Since then, it has established itself as a tool for training hundreds of students from many locations who would not have been able to reach it without this virtual format.
