Although some content from the Perspectives course became available in India during the 1990s, a Perspectives program was not initiated until 2002, beginning in Bangalore. The course was taught in English, attracting English-speaking pastors, ministry leaders, and young people employed in the emerging global business marketplace. Some Perspectives alumni went as missionaries; most, however, saw the challenge of reaching out to the unreached people groups all around them.

After a lapse in course offerings, a re-launch of Perspectives occurred in 2022, with in-person classes in Indore and Visakhapatnam, as well as via a virtual class. Over 100 students were in attendance. With glad anticipation, plans are going forth for future courses.

“My perspective toward God and myself has changed. I understand that God has a big purpose in my life. God wants to show his glory and bless people through my life. The readings are giving deeper exposition that I never heard before. The article "Apostolic Passion" really challenged me. I wish and pray to live with apostolic passion. Especially for my local church members to see the difference in me while preaching. This course is producing spiritual hunger and thirst in my life. I want to Live for Christ and die for Christ.”
